Audit Development Programme

The Audit Development Programme (ADP) is a minimum of 18 months’ work experience period undertaken by a qualified professional accountant (currently SAICA’s CAs) in the area of audit and assurance. 


Continuing Professional Development

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the means by which members of a profession maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge and skills and develop the personal qualities required in their professional lives to achieve excellence.



In achieving its mandate of public protection the IRBA determines the appreciate standards of competence required for entry into the auditing profession. In this regard the IRBA accredits and annually monitors professional bodies to ensure high-quality of programmes.
